Book Reading Challenge

I have been tagged by Sarah...
So this is the list I received, with instructions.... and I am responding to Sarah's challenge about the books I have read so far and are likely to read in future or the one's I'll never read or the ones I have never heard about...
Look at the list of books below.
Bold the ones you’ve read.
Italicize the ones you might read.
Cross out the ones you won’t.
Underline the ones on your book shelf.
Place (parentheses) around the ones you’ve never even heard of.
I have made a few changes in the instruction due to tools limitations on Blogger so in place of crossing out the books I won't read I have put them in red and in place of underlining the books on my shelf I have shown them in green color...

The person who made the list obviously missed great Vididhar Suraj Prasad Naipaul's early fiction which is probably the best 20th century has ever seen.

I highly recommend A House for Mr. Biswas, Miguel Street, Mystic Massseur.

I am amazed at the omission of Joseph Conrad too. I have only read Heart of Darkness, but hell no list should ever leave him out.

The list has a good Greene in Brigton Rock but missing A Quiet Ameircan, Of Power and Glory, The Heart of the Matter is terrifying to me.

Last point, why would anyone ever read JK Rowling and not Yann Martel!

Hi Satya,
VS Naipaul is a great omission I agree with you..he is in my favorite list as well but I too forgot while making an addition..
I have not read Joseph Conrad yet but soon I'll try...
Life of Pie was a good read though..and I love the Harry Potter movies although I would never read any of the books for sure..
