O White Snow!

O white snow
Fall on my shoulders
Silently softly serenely
Soften my soul
Cover me white
Soothe my senses
Shine me bright
Bring me a new life!

O white snow
Soft, silent, serene
Harbinger of hope
Stimulator of dreams
Fall for a white Christmas
Fall for our joy
Fall for the little children
To revel and enjoy!

Merry Christmas! White Christmas!

Hi Every One,

Each one of You!

The world of poetry is like an ocean and in one life time one can only pick a few pearls out of this vast ocean. I have too tried to choose a few pearls from this vast ocean, the ones very close to my heart and have influenced me the most. To begin with I have put a collection of 25 pearls...and I am very keen to increase the number with the onset of time...

Power Games

Petty pawns in the power game

Insensitive, irrational, inhumane

Like wild animals you behave

Or the early humans in the cave

Where disappears century’s civilization

When it comes to power games?!

Ma (mother)

Jivan paya ma se
Pahle bahut dur tha is jahan se
Phir ma hi meri jahan thi
Har khushi har kalpana thi

Phir main badhata gaya
Uski sanso se dur hat ta gaya
Ab sari jahan hai mere samane
Par ma kahan hai mere samne

Naye rishte naye rivaz ban gaye
Purane riste rivaz badal gaye
Naye-purane ka ahsas ho gaya
Jindigi ka ek lamha dhal gaya

Ma ki yade to hain par purani hain
Naye dosto ki bate muhjabani hain
Shayad aise hin jindagi gujar jayegi
Nai dastane phir purani ban jayegi

Ek jahan paya to dusra kho gaya
Mussalam kuchh bhi nahi paya
Kuchh yade yahan kuchh wahan
Tukdo me jahan- tahan

Jindgi dhalti ja rahi hai
Ma ab nahi hai,
Uski god bhi nahi hai
Kahan soun , badi tej nind aati hai?
