From everything you've written, he sounds like a wonderful man. No doubt he was very proud of you and all you've accomplished. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these difficult days.paris parfaithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05457437124988976587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11940280.post-1153608057093829042006-07-23T04:10:00.000+05:302006-07-23T04:10:00.000+05:30How lovely. The tired family tries to relax a while. Its purse is lighter now and the post-operative routine still continues to exact funds. Gods are to be thanked and they also need the family's time and money. But they accomodate the family's current priorities and wait. Nobody wants to go back to the unnerving place called hospital, at least not so soon.

Such were my feeling when my father came back from hospital after his peptic surgery some twenty-eight years ago.

Abhay, your poignat lines remind me of that. Thanks.

Nanda
________________________________
For more of my poems, vignette, anecdotes, transcreations, short stories, goodies, jokes, book reviews, visit my blog at http://books.myvisitindia.com.
______________________________Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11940280.post-1152907748720160462006-07-15T01:39:00.000+05:302006-07-15T01:39:00.000+05:30Thanks to amazing medicine you'll have your father...Thanks to amazing medicine you'll have your father with you longer.
