I saw leaves dancing...

I looked out of the window
Taking a break from the cyber world
And my eyes fell on the dancing leaves
Under the blue sky
Dancing with abandon
With the music of the wind
And I thought of freedom
And what it meant to be free!
Locked in the cubes
Surrounded by the uninspiring and arcane
Burdened with files
I had stopped living
And then I could bear no more
I put aside all
And looked out of the window
And I saw leaves dancing with joy
And I thought of freedom
And what it meant to be free!

How true, Abhay. These small dances of the nature brings us back to the freedom we always have, but seldom feel in the midst of the daily grind.

Thanks for this beautiful reminder. :-)

Life is beautiful...
We just need some time out of managing small details
Some time out of ambition
Some time out of ego and lose ourselves in the vast expanse of the Universe! In the rythm of the dancing leaves!

Cheers!
(PS-Have you got my book yet?)

I love this poem. It's so easy to get caught up in the mundane and forget the sacred. How wonderful it is to be able to look out the window and see leaves dancing with abandon to bring us back to our reality!!

Thank you Laura for visiting me and your kind and touching words...
I felt today that life is not complete until you love something/someone very dearly and then you see things so differently...the mundane becomes sacred!
Cheers!
