The Illusion of Time

Time is the greatest illusion or hallucination of human mind. The rising and setting of the Sun, day and night, the biological process of birth, ageing and death create impression of time-time that is unstoppable, time that is passing by. But what is time?

There is no time, there is only illusion, as the train runs fast and if one looks out of the window, one finds that the ground and trees are running away in the opposite direction,as the Sun appears going around the earth everyday.

The fact is that universe begins, it changes and then it ends as any other object in the Universe. Nothing lasts forever. Our histotries, thoughts, pride, greatness, meanness, beauty, magnificence will all be buried one day in the cosmic dust and a new Universe will begin afresh with its new laws.

There is no immortality, no eternity and no timelessness because time does not exist independent of the events. Only there is a circle of birth and death of all that we see and all that we do not see with our eyes, all we experience from our limited senses and all we do not experience.

The straight lines we see, such as progress of civilization or evolution going in a certain direction are merely straight lines of a bigger circle. In our universe straight lines are all but a continuum of a circle. Eisenstein understood it and put forward that there is no space, there is no time but only space-time continuum. This continuum is nothing but the change taking place in the universe.

Thus the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning.
