Musings from New Delhi

The message is "love and peace"
The message is deep
The world perhaps now understands
The message of this ancient civilization
The land of learning and the first book

The country is awakening
Awakening once again
Into a brand new age
With a new zeal
And succeed it will

The world now looks
With eyes wide open
At the world’s largest democracy
Wishing her well
In all her pursuits!

Abhay! I woke up thinking about our priest who is from India this morning and wondering how he is doing in his new place and church and then I turn on CNN and seeeeee all the terror in India, I can't believe it! Then I think of YOU! Terrorists are everywhere! I am soooo sorry, it is so sad! Did you say you just returned from there???Love and many prayers, xo

Abhay, I, too am reading your lovely poem after the sad news in India. I wrote a haiku and little post about the situation. Am so sorry for your country and its people. I hope your friends and family are all well. Love and peace to you and yours. Tara xo
